this is just an example of some idiot who prematurely judged the movie because they didn’t read the graphic novel. i’ll admit, it is slightly confusing the first time through if you didn’t read the gn, but come on! make at least a little effort to understand it! besides, the WHOLE POINT of Watchmen is to eccentuate the flaws of society, and question the values that we hold in place.

Wait! What? How prejudiced are you? Twilight got a miss because you couldn’t tell what was going on with the “other” vampires, but this one is just, “I’m sure, and hope that these [questions] get answered in the full feature” (3:33-3:40). Granted, you had to know the book to really get the movie, but there is just no objectivity in your judgement of the trailers. That’s my opinion, take it for what its worth.

aaaargh… cmon. it s not that hard to understand. make an effort, and maybe your brain will react: they were on the good side, but the people (that you can see rioting against the watchmen) don t want their help. nevertheless, they don t realize they need their help, but Rorschach, on the watchmen’s behalf, reacts to humanity s unchangable nature, by leaving them to their own fate. at least, that s how this trailer puts it.
the two talking puppets made it seem stupid. the movie s the first unsuperficial movie based on a graphic novel/comics. god i loved that movie.

Holy crap those two idiots ruined the trailer at the end. what the hell? Who thought it was a good idea to cut the trailer short to show them instead of showing the title “Watchmen”. It ruined the effect of Rorschach looking at the camera.
Its funny, i like the first half of the trailer, but then when all the titles start coming up, it lost me.
however, i loved the film. great movie.
all the kids watched the trailer and expected an action movie, and instead they found a “noir” with complex storyline. Sorry babies, go QQ moar.
