So I read the manga and dreamed Spirals…I couldn’t sleep…
unfortunately this movie was boring
The dude writes REALLY strange and creepy manga.
though In my opinion this one got kinda repetitive like stuff would happen then everyone just shrugged it off and moved on, that kinda bothered me.
i couldnt sleep without covering my head after reading this manga ^^; and i tried my best to forget about it since so that i could sleep normally again, well i got over it but damn what kind of weirdass urge is it that i have right now that i want to watch this movie huh? i wont be able to sleep again, oh noez x]

The Full-Spread picture of Jack in the Box… His body curved around the axis of a smashed car… That was the creepiest part. Had nightmares and was afraid to cross the street for about a week.

Yeah, uzumaki can mean whirlpool or spiral, from what I’ve understood.
The manga was so deliciously creepy, I have got to see this movie. I mean, the movies never live up to the manga/books, ever, but I wanna see it anyway. If the movie’s half as good as the manga was, it’ll be well worth it.
Ito Junji is a freakin’ genius.

The ending of the manga was sad, but predictable. I wonder how the movie ends.
I don’t exactly imagine how Uzumaki could be made into a movie. A tv series would be possible. But a movie would just be too weird.
