The Twi-hards are in full effect this weekend!

Friday’s opening of New Moon earned $72.7 million dollars at the box office, making it the film with the highest grossing single day sales ever!!!

Although are any of you really that surprised?????

The new Twilight flick is expected to pull in $125 million over the weekend, which will place it at #4 on the list of the top-grossing opening weekend films, falling short behind 2008’s The Dark Knight ($158.4 million), 2007’s Spider-Man 3 ($151 million) and 2006’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest ($135.6 million).
